Gay Rights Protest Art |
Halfden writes about his 'Family' image: "....In art class in school the task was to create a piece of protest art. I chose Gay Rights because I've always had a strong sense of justice and it's been something I feel strongly about, and after everyone got equal adoption and marriage rights in Norway I became interesting in how the situation was in the rest of the world. Making this image was an interesting experience, unlike anything I've done before, because the most important thing was to get the message across. The message I'm conveying in this picture is that, everyone is equal regardless of their sexual orientation, and should therefore be allowed to establish a family...."
